The Hibernian Orchestra will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary with a Gala concert at Dublin's National Concert Hall on 15th June 2011 at 8.00 p.m.

The program includes Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto featuring Irish composer and pianist Philip Martin (whose music and recordings have been featured many times here on the program) as soloist, as well as the amazing Planets Suite by Holst. The Hibernian Orchestra which is made up of professional and semi-professional musicians, amateur musicians, part-time musicians and music teachers is one of the country's finest orchestras - they will be conducted by John Finucane for this gala concert.
